HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT TAKE?
A tattoo appointment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours or more depending on the complexity and size of the piece. I will let you know in advance how long to expect the tattoo appointment to take, but please make sure to open your schedule for long periods of time if it is a large tattoo so that there may be no other time conflicts.
may i drink before a tattoo?
Please refrain from heavy drinking the day of and prior to your appointment. Alcohol thins the blood and makes my job much more difficult, not to mention this is a public space and being intoxicated is NOT allowed. If you choose to excessively drink before your appointment, I reserve the right to cancel your appointment and forfeit your deposit.
may i put numbing cream prior to an appointment?
You can, but be aware of potential adverse reactions on your skin from the numbing cream. It is recommended to apply the numbing cream to the tattooed area an hour before your appointment.
wHAT TYPE OF LOTION/OINTMENT MAY I USE?
Everyone has different preferred ointment/lotion to use and many do a good job, but the ones I personally recommend can be found in my tattoo care section. Ointments I do not recommend are Vaseline, and Aquaphor. These ointments can cause breakouts on the skin due to their oily consistency.
